Ackshun Entertainment has been promoting events, distributing Hip Hop paraphernalia, touring artists and generally delivering quality Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, R&B and Reggae acts to Australasia since 1996.
We embrace all styles of music however our goal is to entertain, educate and expose un common music, both past and present in a Hip Hop orientated format.
Ackshun’s in this simply for the love of Hip Hop culture; our mission is to keep an ever-diminishing scene healthy, happy and involved.
Ackshun Entertainment has toured and worked with artists such as the Beat Junkies, Expansion Team Soundsystem, Plus One, Shortee Blitz, P-Money, Jean Grae, Paul Nice, Revolution and many more. Ackshun has also held the NSW DMC DJ Battles for four consecutive years and have participated in several community programs. We incorporate all elements of Hip Hop culture in our events, from DJs, MCs and Beat Boxers, to Dancers and Graffiti Artists.
Involvement with Ackshun Entertainment tours, events and consultation offers you an opportunity to reach cash-disposable, consumer-savvy 18-40 year olds. The Australasian Hip Hop and R&B urban scene has a massive following, which has grown even more in the recent years to influence mainstream youth culture. This influence has manifested itself in the top 40 charts, mainstream clothing, advertising, music videos and television. This target group recognize style and quality when they see it and are willing to spend a large percentage of their incomes on leisure pursuits.
